Obituary of Judith M Blagg

Judith M Blagg, of Weyauwega, WI formally of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away August 9, 2021, at home. Judith was born September 29, 1933, to Harry and Lila Lundberg in Waukegan, IL. She graduated from Waukegan High School. Judith worked at Zion-Benton Township High School as a Teacher’s aide and retired from Lake County Clerks office in Waukegan, IL. After retirement she worked at Our Lady of Humility Catholic Church in the pre-school EDP department. She spent 25 plus years as a Zion-Benton Athletic Boosters member. Judith was an avid painter and enjoyed bird watching and playing Scrabble. Judith is survived by her son-in-law Glen Olson; sons, Rick (Evelyn) Ruckebeil, Mark (Sandy) Ruckebeil, Scott (Sondra) Ruckebeil; daughters, Amy (Mike) Curley and Mary Ruckebeil; grandchildren, Paul (Jessica) Ruckebeil, Dana Ruckebeil, Patricia Ruckebeil, Matthew Ruckebeil, Nicholas Ruckebeil, Zachary (Jessica) Ruckebeil, Brett Ruckebeil, Reid Ruckebeil, Alexia Curley, Kevin Curley, Olivia Leideger and Drake Leideger; 10 great-grandchildren and sister, Cynthia (Robert) White. She is Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lila Lundberg; brother, David Lundberg; son, Paul “Skip” Ruckebeil and Daughter, Jill Olson. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL From 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Zion-Benton Athletic Boosters Club.
