There are so many emotions and not enough words to describe my feelings and thoughts of Great Grandma Peters. I have so many memories, where do I begin? I, like so many of us, have so many knee slapping funny stories; Great Grandma Peters could have been a comedian! There were times that she had us laughing so hard, you know the kind where your stomach hurts, you�re crying, and you�re about to pee your pants? Yeah, I know that you have some of these stories too. Those are the memories that I will hold onto, these are the images that stay in my mind, seeing Great Grandma (and Great Grandpa) Peters making us laugh. The summers were always something to look forward to in our house, because that�s when Great Grandma and Great Grandpa were coming to visit! It was like a slumber party for the next two weeks, us three kids got to move into one room, while Great Grandma and Great Grandpa used my brother�s room. We would go downtown and window shop (and anyone who knew Great Grandma knew that you NEVER stop if she isn�t stopping! She will lose you in 30 seconds!) I remember looking at something in the window and asking Great Grandma Peters what she thought of it. When I looked around she was already down the block!!! We had to run to catch up with her; the original Energizer bunny, she never slowed down. Do you remember how the camera was always a part of her? I know when we were kids we used to make jokes about �all the pictures,� and let�s not forget that some of them were �crazy pictures�; but looking back now�. Thank Goodness for her! All of the memories she gave us, all the laughs, all the silliness � they are wonderful and precious memories now. Great Grandma Peters was a magical person, so full of good and joy. She was full of love and happiness and it couldn�t help but be contagious. It may be sad that the vessel she used is gone, but her spirit will always live on, and she is in all of us. Each one of us has a special memory, and it�s these memories that will let her live on forever.
