Obituary of Erik Olivo

Erik Olivo, 21, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021. Erik was born on March 15, 2000 in Middletown, NY. Erik was passionate about movies, cars and comics. Especially Fast and the Furious he would watch it over and over again. He also enjoyed documentaries. He was a college student and always dreamed of becoming a Biomedical Engineer. He is survived by his mother Maria Olivo, his father Raymundo Diaz, his siblings Victor Diaz, Jaqueline Diaz and Brandon Diaz, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. *Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home located at 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois 60099. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. Followed by interment at Mt. Le sobreviven su madre Maria Olivo, su padre Raymundo Diaz, sus hermanos, Victor Diaz, Jaqueline Diaz y Brandon Diaz, tias, tios, y primos. * No te aflijas por mí, porque ahora soy libre, estoy siguiendo el camino que Dios me puso. Tomé su mano cuando lo escuché llamar. La visitación será el 27 de julio 2021 desde 4:00 a 7:00 p.m. en Congdon Funeral Home ubicada en 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois 60099.
