Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth Stieb

Dorothy E. Stieb, 98, of Wauwatosa, WI, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Dorothy was born October 5, 1922 in Highland Park, IL to Joseph and Anna Bleyer. On June 7, 1947, she married the love of her life, Fred Stieb, in Waukegan, IL. She was a previous resident of Waukegan, IL where she worked for Illinois Bell Telephone and Waukegan School District. Dorothy was a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Jeffrey) Richtfort-Ambrose, Patricia (Fred) Bode and Carolyn (David) Stieb-Stanton; grandson, Bill (Debra) Richtfort; granddaughter, Suzanne (James) Richtfort Porteous; grandsons, Rob (Rachel) Bode and Brian Bode; and four great-grandchildren; one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Fred R. Stieb; parents, Joseph and Anna Bleyer; her siblings; granddaughter, Robyn P. Bode; and son-in-law, William H. Richtfort. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL 60099 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
