Obituary of Gregory J. Lesniak

Gregory J. Lesniak 69, of Riverside, IL passed away on June 10, 2021 in Waukegan, IL. The son of Thaddeus (Christine Nee Dayer) Lesniak. Gregory had a fine passion for cooking and exploring new restaurants too. He retired from working at The Chew Chew in Riverside, IL and Yoshi’s Café in Chicago, IL. In his free time he spent time riding his bike, or walking. He was also very active in his condominium community and was an Association board member for five years where he developed many close friends. He will be missed by his family and friends and be remembered for his quirkiness and wit. Gregory is survived by his siblings; Dolores (Keith) Anderson, Janet ( Terry) Scherman, Anthony (Rosanna) Lesniak, loving uncle of; Heather, Bret (Christine) Anderson, James (Kathryn) Scherman, Christine (Collin) O’Rourke, Jacqueline, Mary Grace Lesniak, great uncle of; Adeline, Fiona Scherman.
