Obituary of Mike Pavletic
Mike Pavletic of Beach Park, IL passed Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Born July 19th 1955 in Waukegan, IL, he is survived by his wife, Debra (nee Klinefelter), sons Chase & Ryan, brothers and sisters, Linda (Gary) Jackson, Rudy Pavletic, Toni Larson, Merle (Al) Thompson, & Chris (Heather) Pavletic, along with nieces & nephews. He married his high school sweetheart, Debra on October 10th, 1981 in Zion, IL. They had two children, Chase and Ryan, who were his pride and joy. He was a loyal friend, devoted father and husband. He spent many years honing his skills in the auto body world to become a master craftsman. He had a passion for cars and automotive restoration and a dream of owning his own business. After founding his company in 1973 building and fabricating custom cars and parts. He was featured in two technical books on sheet metal shaping [Advanced Sheet Metal Fabrication] and [The Sheet Metal Fabricators Bible] His work garnered AACA Jr. Sr. and Grand National 1st place awards as well as World of Wheels 1st awards in Chicago and Milwaukee and 1st place awards at the Street Rod Nationals in Indianapolis. He prided himself on being able to offer his customers unmatched quality and craftsmanship, but his true joy was being able to work with his sons and instill the same passion and drive. His dream was to pass the business to his sons and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held Thusday, April 29th from 4 - 7 at Congdon Funeral Home located at 3012 Sheridan Road in Zion, IL.
