Obituary of Patsy Kloet
Patsy Jean Kloet, 83, of Zion, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 2, 2021.
Pat was born April 10, 1937 in Waukegan, IL and graduated from Zion Benton Township High School in 1955. She married Chester Kloet on October 29, 1955 and they were married for 65 years. She was a life-long member of Christ Community Church. Pat worked for and retired from Zion State Bank/PNC Bank as an administrative assistant. Upon retirement, they enjoyed travelling and spending time at their cabin on Shawano Lake, WI.
Her greatest joy in her life was caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as her beloved dog, Remy. She loved to read, bake, do puzzles, garden, play games with her family and relax by Shawano Lake.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Kloet, daughters, Carol (Stephen) Capp and Beth (John) DePasquale, grandchildren Keith (Collyn) Capp, Stephanie (Adam) Soebbing, Michelle (Steven) Angelos, and Laura Capp, great grandchildren, Grant and Hadley Capp, Angela and Lily Soebbing, and Matthew, Joshua and Elena Angelos, and, brother, Fred (Jean) Russell, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Russell, siblings, Eleanor Mae Russell, Vivian (James) King and Robert T. Russell and nephews Fred King, Jim King and Bob Russell.
A private funeral service will be held at Congdon’s Funeral Home in Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
