Obituary of Adelaide M. Keepper

Adelaide M. Keepper, of Zion, IL passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI. Adelaide was born August 12, 1925, in Chicago, IL to Charles and Marie Lerch. Adelaide grew up in Chicago and lived most of her life in Waukegan, IL where she attended school. She was a member of United Methodist Church where she was joined in marriage to Lester Keepper on November 1, 1990. Adelaide was an avid pinochle player, and loved oil painting and gardening. She volunteered her time to those in need at United Methodist Soup Kitchen and Our Lady of Humility’s Bereavement Committee. Adelaide loved to travel and in the late 1990's, took a trip around the world with her late husband, Lester Keepper. Adelaide is survived by her daughters, Lorelei Polinski, Loretta (Steven) Moylan and Laura (Kevin) Murdie; grandchildren, Jennifer Whitton Goza, Jason Whitton, Cara Polinski Sievers, Paul Helmert, Annemarie Helmert Gasser, Steven Moylan, Marissa Moylan Dovell, Emily Sakellariadis, Nicholas Sakellariadis, Katarina Sakellariadis Howard and Sophia Sakellariadis McKeehan; 13 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jeannette Polinski; granddaughter-in-law, Buffy Polinski; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Leonard Polinski; second husband, Lester Keepper; daughter, Leonore Polinski Whitton; sons, Charles Polinski and Leonard J. Polinski, Jr.; and grandson, Christopher Polinski. Services will be private for the family.
