Cindy and family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. You were so lucky to have her around for 90 years. I know she will be missed by all those who knew her. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this tough time.
I remember the many week end gatherings, card games and lots of fun and laughter. With all the loud voices and joking of the guys playing cards, Betty was always calm, quiet and making sure everyone was taken care of. She was a wonderful friend to Mom, who appreciated the times they got together to share their many memories. Hugs to you all.
having worked with both Jim and Betty at the City of Zion I can’t imagine a more loving couple. Jim could make everyone laugh and Betty always held down the fort with few words but a big heart. Through this time I was able to become friends with their daughter Janice who truly is a loving soul just as her mama. It’s hard to say goodbye for now so we’ll just say “see you later” and I know when I see Janice I’m also seeing your light shining through. RIP dear Betty .....
