Obituary of Margaret Swanson

Margaret Swanson (nee Maki) 11/10/55-2/21/21 of Winthrop Harbor passed away after a short illness. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her favorite TV shows were NCIS and Wheel of Fortune. She will be missed. Margaret is survived by her mother Alice Heikkala, sons, Mark Maki, Matthew Swanson and Michael Swanson, two sisters, Valerie Wood and Dee Dozier, two brothers, Andrew Maki and Patrick Maki, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin (Sonny) Swanson, her grandparents, her father, Roy Maki, two sisters, a brother, a niece and a great nephew.
