Aunt Karen and I were similar in many ways, not only making us good relatives, but good friends as well. This picture is Aunt Karen and I at Christmas 1980. Some of the family was running late, so we were dancing and singing in an attempt to keep everyone entertained while waiting. I am not sure anyone was actually entertained, but Aunt Karen and I had a great time!
We also used to have a great time going to movies at the Elk Grove Village movie theater in the early 1990’s. We filled our purses with all kinds of snacks, because we couldn’t stomach paying the movie theater snack prices. We munched and laughed all through the shows!
