Obituary of Steven Michael Sussman

Steven Michael Sussman 59, of Waukegan, IL passed away peacefully on January 10,2021 at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan, IL. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 20,1961 the son of Charles and Kay Sussman. Steven loved to watch sports but also was a wiz on history about sports. That lead him the name the Guru. He was a huge animal lover especially to Queenie. His favorite place to vacation was Door County, WI where he would camp, have bonfires, barbeque and spend time with family and friends. He worked at Napa Auto Parts as a counterman for thirty years over various locations. He was a funny, good humored and generous person. He had a heart of gold, that will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Steven was a loving husband to Pam Sussman for almost thirty-five years; loving brother to Denise Elliot (Scott Grissom) of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Dawn (Bob) Berry of Kenosha, WI. He is preceded in death by parents Charles and Kay Sussman. Due to the current pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later time.
