Obituary of Corrine B. Tessmer

Corrine Beilke Tessmer, 94, of North Chicago, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021. Corrine was born July 18, 1926 in Wausau, WI to Marvin and Laura Beilke. She attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Redeemer Lutheran Church. On March 13, 1946, she married Earl Tessmer in Pine County, MN. Corrine retired from Fansteel in North Chicago after many years of service; she was a member of Navy Wives Club of America, Great Lakes #104, Ladies Auxillary Fleet Reserve Association, Unit 53, USO, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Corrine was a free spirit, a true patriot, world traveler and a friend to all who always had a story for you. Corrine is survived by her grandchildren, Robin (Dennis) Dostalek, of Kenosha, WI, Rebecca (James) Cook, of Beach Park, IL, and Tonya (Jerry) Binkley, of Port Richey, FL; great-granddaughter, Tabitha (Wayne) Jaworek, of Kenosha, WI; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Steven and Cayden; sister, Dixie (Steve) McNeely, of Tombstone, AZ; and daughter-in-law, Laurie Tessmer, of Zion, IL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl; parents, Marvin and Laura Beilke; children, Jay B. Tessmer, Marvlynn Wallace, and Lawrence J. Tessmer; sisters, June Beilke and Lola Chamberlain; and son-in-law, Robert L. Wallace. No services are planned for Corrine at this time.
