Obituary of Theresa E Fleming

Theresa Ellen Fleming (May), 88, of Beach Park, passed away on December 5, 2020. Theresa was born May 3, 1932 in Waukegan, ILto Edward and Jane May. Theresa grew up in Waukegan, IL attending Immaculate Conception Elementary School and Waukegan High School. She married Edward Pincombe on July 7, 1951. They were married for for 22 years. Theresa was married to Lawrence Fleming on July 10, 1976.During her working years Theresa worked at Warwick Electronics, Grants Department Store and Montgomery Ward. She worked many years atA.L. Hansen before retiring in 1994. Retirement didn’t agree with Theresa and she went back to work part-time helping in any way needed at Elmwood Elementary School in Zion. She enjoyed her time working with the children at Elmwood before retiring for good in 2002. Theresa enjoyed reading, music, especially attending musical theater with her sisters, and loved animals of all kinds. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her 6 children from her first marriage, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Theresa was beloved and will be greatly missed by her brother Dr. Edward May; her 6 children; Edward Pincombe Ill (Cynthia), Larry Pincombe (Roxanne), Debi Booth (Mike), Marie Koetz (Allan), Holly Draper (Lee), and Stephen Pincombe (Valery); 13 grandchildren; Edward Pincombe IV, Jeremy Pincombe (Megan), Heather Mackey, Jenny Morse (Ken), Javier Pino-Hall (Treka), Michael Pincombe (Jessica), Dallas Pincombe, Collin Koetz (Alyssa Low), Madeline Koetz, Tannah DiNatale (Anthony), Adrienne Pincombe, Cierra Pincombe and Erick Pincombe; 12 great grandchildren; Darryn Lawson, Kendra Morse, Madeleine Pincombe, Meredith Pincombe, Julia Pincombe, David Pincombe, Dominic Munoz, Emelia Munoz,Tomas Munoz, Athena Pincombe, Ember Pincombe, Philip DiNatale; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Fleming; her parents Edward and Jane May; sisters; Agnes Jensen, Patricia Youngman, Mary Dugan, Jean Mattei, Elizabeth Perry, and brothers George, Jack and Richard May. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home located at 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099.
