Obituary of Nancy Storey

Nancy Lynn Storey (nee Martin) of Third Lake, IL, passed away December 27, 2020, at Lake Forest Hospital after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born January 10, 1956, in Lake Forest, IL, and grew up in Gurnee, IL. Nancy married Richard Storey Jr., September 26, 1992, and resided in Grayslake, IL, until they retired to Third Lake, IL, where they enjoyed their beautiful new home and lake view. Nancy was a successful saleswoman in the office furniture, supplies and printing field at Burgess Anderson & Tate. She more than loved to travel and explore with her husband and family, cherished her friendships and enjoyed her life to the fullest. Nancy is survived by her husband and best friend, Richard (Rick) Storey Jr.; her children, Ronald Shearer Jr. and Dawn (Justin) Dyer; grandchildren, Cael, Colden and Chase; siblings, Laura Martin, Julie Edwards, Marsha VanBourgondien, Barbara Seaman, Marshall Martin and Joel Martin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Barbara Martin. A celebration of life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, tell your loved ones you love them.
