Every time I saw Cal there was always a friendly smile and warm handshake. I will miss Cal but will gladly give him up to our Lord Jesus.

We were privileged to get to know Cal in the 8 years that we have been in the church and really came to respect him and his wisdom. It was a real joy working with him in the church office - he had a real servant's spirit and attitude. You will be sorely missed Cal, but we rejoice in knowing that you are now with the God you worshipped and served for many years.

We thank God for giving us the privilege of knowing Cal since coming to Zion in 1978. We will sorely miss him and his wonderful giving spirit. Cal is now rejoicing in Heaven with his Lord and for that we give thanks.

To the Cal Weese family; I have known Cal since the early 50's. My first wife, Lois, and I were in Lil and Cal's wedding party. Lois and Lil were best friends. Lois was killed in an auto accidet in September of 1954. I remarried in 1956 and we moved to Arizona in 1967. I remember Cal as a soft spoken wonderful friend and pal. I know he will be missed. I take comfort in the fact that we will all be together over on the other side. May God bless you and give you peace. Arlene and I send our Christian Love. Les Christenson

Dear family of a dear old friend and brother in Christ... May God give you all the peace only He can provide as you continue on in life without the presence of this very special man. My late husband, Finley (Gus) and I came to know Cal on a deeper level during the years we attended the early Wednesday morning prayer service at CCC. I praise God that I KNOW that he is now united with Christ Jesus and with he precious wife, Lil. God bless you all. Sincerely In Christ, Junella Gustafson P.S. I am currently in Kentucky visiting family, and received this e-mail from a friend. I am thankful that I can correspond in this way.

I am so sorry to hear of Cal's passing. He was great to work for and a real pleasure to know. On several of my nights as CCC's night watchman, Cal would keep me entertained with stories of his adventures in the Navy. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers - God bless.

I was unable to attend services for Cal. I was not a close acquaintance, but I knew of Cal's service to Christ Community Church and I was privileged to join him in the Wednesday afternoon prayer meetings. I am sure he heard "well done, good and faithful servant," as he entered into The Kingdom. Condolences to the family.

We have you in our prayers as you miss your father. We were with you in prayer on Saturday but it turned out Cheryl was scheduled out of state visiting family in AZ. We praise our Lord that your parents are together again in His loving arms!
