I was shocked to see this sad news. She was my midnight shift guardian angel as I patrolled the streets of WH. She was one of my aunt’s best friends growing up and one of the many who called my Grandma Vi Madden, “Ma Madden”. We send our love to the family, Bill, Siobhan, Tiernen, and Garrett Peacy

I was just shocked when I read this, as was my hubby... When we became her neighbor she was there introducing herself... We had many visits as neighbors and always said we were going to visit again after we moved... I enjoyed each visit very much...
We send our upmost sympathy n just hate hearing this about Jean ... hard to believe...
Love n Prayers for this precious family

Jean was the first person I met when I moved to Winthrop Harbor and I am grateful for her generosity and kindness. She was
an authentic, honest and earthy person with a big heart. I am so sorry for your loss.

I have fond memories of the effervescent Jean Wollert. As a kid she was our guiding light in Winthrop Harbor. Always kind and eager to listen, always filled with solid wisdom and always happy.
My condolences to the family.

There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go.
somehow these words have always helpped me at times like this . thought I might share them with you,Uncle Ted , Matt-Todd and all.

Dear Ted, Todd and Family,
I am truly sorry and saddened by the passing of Jean! I know the extreme pain
you all are in and nothing can be said to ease that. Just know that she was loved
by many! Myself, she not only was a long time friend, but a mentor at the Village Hall!
She will be very missed! My comfort is I know that Dad (Frank) greeted her with a
great big Hug.....because he loved to do that to her! I will keep all of you in my prayers
and if there is anything I can do for you all please let me know. Rest In Peace Jean!!

Dear Ted, Todd and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Many years ago when we were neighbors, I truly enjoyed our weekly, sometimes bi-weekly visits. Jean and I would sit and gab and drink Pepsi. She was a great friend then and I am sorry that we drifted apart after my family moved out of the neighborhood. I was certainly happy to see the three of you a few weeks ago. May Jean Rest in Peace now and be reunited with her parents and brothers.
