Obituary of Jerome Baruffi

Jerome "Jerry Baruffi, 32, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, died in a sudden accident on Sunday, August 6, 2006, in Baraboo, WI. Jerry was born on March 22, 1974, in Waukegan, IL, and was a 1992 graduate of Waukegan Township High School. He had worked as a beverage distributor and driver. Jerry was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle. He loved sports; including the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls; and he was a NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed golfing. Survivors include his father and mother, Ronald J. and Barbara Baruffi of Pleasant Praire, WI; three brothers, Joseph (Susan) Baruffi, James Baruffi both of Kenosha, WI, and John Baruffi of Pleasant Prairie, WI; two sisters, Mary Kay Goebel and Beth Baruffi, both of Kenosha, WI; seven nephews, Eric Goebel, R.J. Baruffi, John Baruffi Jr., Joey Baruffi Jr., Nicholas Baruffi, Jimmy Baruffi, and Tony Baruffi; three nieces, Amy Goebel, Danielle Baruffi, and Maggie Baruffi; and numerous aunts, uncles , and cousins. In addition he was Godfather to John Baruffi Jr. amd Tony Baruffi. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Skalla and Myrtle (Skalla) Becker, and Gilbert A. and Helen Baruffi. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Church, 2020 91st Street, Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion.
