Obituary of Carol Willings

Carol Willings 72, of Beach Park, IL passed away peacefully on October 26, 2020. Carol was born December 24, 1947 in Zion Il and resided in the Lake County area her whole life, where she met and married her late husband George “Tex” Willings on March 21, 1967. She was an avid Cubs, Bears and Nascar fan. She loved going to Bingo weekly with her sister Judy either at St. Ann’s or the Puerto Rican Society. And if there was a parade you would find her there. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family. Carol is survived by her children, Kevin (Robbyn) Allbee, Polly (Ed) Panton, George (Angie) Willings and Cindy (Rob) Gartley. Grandchildren, Sheila (Kawanis) McDaniel, Ashley Panton, Rachel Michaud, Dakota (Julie) Gartley, Jason Ferber, Danielle Ferber, Rilee Willings, Cheyenne Gartley and her 4 legged fur-baby Hana. Great-Grandchildren Lianna, Adrian, Sofie, Emma and Lily. Her sisters and brothers Judy, Aubrey, Larry, Myrna, Rick, Ken and Bonnie and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband George “Tex” Willings, Brother-in-law Chester Gibbs, brothers Sonny and David, Sister, Shirley and her furry friend Elliott. Services will be private.
