As a small child I remember going regularly to the the Christophersen home. My brother and I explored all around the gardens, shop and sometimes snuck across the road to the golf course. I remember seeing the Sunday table filled with so many wonderful foods! I could always choose my vegetable because there were so many. I always saved room for dessert! That was a favorite for sure! Downstairs after lunch we would play with different toys that lined the shelves. It was a place of comfort and joy.
