Obituary of Eddie Walton

Eddie “Oscar” Walton, 42, of Ingleside, IL, passed away suddenly on August 30, 2020 at home. Eddie was born January 27, 1978 in Waukegan, IL. At the age of 20 he met the love of his life, Malia Faumui, they married on June 7, 2008 in Hawaii. Ed was a loyal employee of Armstrong Relocation. He was a fan of all sports, especially the Chicago teams and looked forward to the Chicago Bears season every year. He most recently took up golfing and enjoyed spending time on the course with his wife and his friends, he took the game pretty seriously and did not hesitate to call out the cheaters. Always goofy, Ed was a big kid at heart, his random sense of humor had people laughing - even when they didn’t want to. He was quite the handyman with things around the house. Ed would take a project and run with, all in his own time. Although he liked to be alone, he was the life of the party when he was around others. His kindness and good heart showed through in his self-proclaimed animal whisperer role. His children will always cherish his memory and his charismatic ways. Ed leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Malia; children, Tyler, Kilisitina, and Keilana; mother, Linda Wall; siblings, Bill, Debbie, and Bob; and other family members and friends. A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
