Obituary of Donald E. Hill

Donald E. Hill, age 74, passed away peacefully after a long illness on August 20, 2020. Don was born on October 11, 1945 in Waukegan, IL, his father was Theodore D. Hill, and his mother was Josephine E. Hill. Don graduated from Z-B High School class of 1963, graduated from Carthage College with a BA degree in 1968, joined the Army in the same year with an Honorable discharged in 1972. Don was a member of the Sports Car Club of America, Z-B Moose, and Z-B Kiwanis Club. Don retired from AAA Motor Club after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara Siddon. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048. Attendees are asked to follow current social distancing guidelines.
