Obituary of Lem Taylor, Jr.
Lem Taylor, Jr., peacefully made his transition, Sunday, August 16, 2020 in Waukegan, IL surrounded by his family.
Born in Evanston on February 13, 1965 to Lem and Blondell Taylor.
Lem was the best son, brother, uncle and brother-in-law you could ask for. Lem had a variety of factory jobs until his health failed him. Lem enjoyed buying old cars, driving around town in them, cracking jokes with his nephews, and spending time with his family for cookouts and holidays. He was loveable, kind hearted, respectful; he enjoyed life to the fullest. He will definitely be missed. Lem and his sister Judy had more of a mom and son relationship, than a sister and brother. Judy took care of him the last 10 years of his life and when he became ill, faithfully.
Lem leaves to cherish his memory, three sisters, Mary (Robert) Tyree, of Fort Wayne, IN, Judy (Herman) Hearton, of Zion, IL, Sandra (Kemmie) Tootle, of Jacksonville, NC; three brothers, James Lee Fisher of Dyer, TN, Sammy Ellington, of Jackson, TN, Michael Taylor, of Kenosha, WI; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lew was preceded in death by his niece, Lushunda Hearton; parents, Lem and Blondell Taylor; and brother, Jeffery ‘Bubba’ Taylor.
