Obituary of William Klebe
William "Bill" Klebe, 72, of Zion, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at home following a short battle with liver cancer.
Bill was born March 14, 1934 in Moline, Illinois, and graduated from Hillsdale High School in Port Byron, Illinois. A Veteran, Bill proudly served his country with the United States Army. He has been a resident of this area for many years where he was self-employed as a Building Contractor. Bill was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who raised his family with much love, laughter and affection.
Survivors include his two daughters Leslie (Mike) Huss of Hersey, Michigan and Kari (Mike) Trzebny of Sharon, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, Chad Brandon, Aaron, Zack, and Heather Huss, Ryan Klebe Sr., Adam Larcom, and Jessica and Nicholas Trzebny; and two great-grandchildren Ryan Klebe Jr. and Riley Klebe. He was preceded in death by his wife Luella Klebe (nee Rowan) in 1982; one brother Rboert "Jerry" Klebe in 1996 and his parents Wilbur and Beulah Klebe.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 18, 2006, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 19th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Cheryl Esbrook of Memorial United Methodist Church officiating and private cremation to follow.
