Obituary of David Richard Ball

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the loss of David Richard Ball, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, on May 8, 2020. David was born April 11, 1958 in St Charles MO. He retired from Abbott Laboratories after 30 years of service. David loved the outdoors. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and traveling in his motorhome with his family. He was a loving husband, father, papa and son. David treasured spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife of 36 years, Andrea; his daughter Lauren (Dan); his son Christopher; his grandson Liam; mother Janet (Bob) Ries; brother Andrew Rohall; and his beloved dog Sugar. Further survived by many other extended family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Ball. Services for David will be private for the family.
