Len, so sad to hear of your passing. Fond memories of Zion with you ... and Al's Tap.
I'll always remember your "wise" words, " Once you let a woman tell you what to do, you're dead meat!" Usually followed by an elbow to the ribs from "Ma" Helen. Haha
God I miss those days and all of the people.
Thanks for everything.

My most sincere sympathy to the Walther family. Years ago I had Cheryl as my student. Lovely child, and wonderful family.

Leonard was such a special man and had so much love for his family and others.
He reminded my sisters and I of our dad with his twinkling eyes and mischievous smile!! He could always make us laugh.
We will miss him very much.

Growing up I didn't see Uncle Leonard much especially since we were in different states. I never really got a chance to really talk with him and Helen until I flew out from Massachusetts for a fourth of July reunion. I admit I was overcome by what a loving family he had created. He made me and my family feel very comfortable. I could feel the overflowing love from all the family and Uncle Leonard and Aunt Helen. It's like what one reads in a book of what a family should be like and they were the subjects that were used.
During our stay Uncle Leonard took a golf cart out and took my son Sam around in it. Talk about how to make a child smile. He definitely knew how. Uncle Leonard and Helen I could see were very proud of there family and one could see they were all close.
The latter years of our lives might not be perfect due to illness, but we have all the memories to cherish of our parents during the good times.
I have good memories to always cherish of my Uncle Leonard and Aunt Helen.
