Dear Sheryl & Donna & extended Families, Oh my gosh!! What a SHOCK it has been for me to hear of Steve's passing!!! I still am trying to believe it. I am so so very sorry for your loss, Steve, Roger & your parents, too. We go back, way back so many years, and so many memories. It's gotta be 40 + years. All my memories are instilled in my past..His "RED" hat! Even my GRANDmother would remember him, if she was still alive. My Parents, too...are gone, but would remember him as well! He was always welcomed here..and would be still to this day! I bought my Mom & Dads home. So, I am still on Edgewood Rd., in Castle Crest. My Brothers & one sister live near by, but my sister Ann & her family moved to Wausau, WI. I wish, in a private way, you could share with me, what happened? Last time I saw him & hugged him was at a Chiropractor's office. I think I kinda shocked him? Prior to that, a BBQ at his house, when he had Kodiak. And, the day before my first wedding & at my ceremony the following day. Him, Craig & John attended the wedding. I felt as tho my brothers were there..the three of them. of course, my real brothers, Doug & Joe, were there, also. I have always had a special spot in my heart for Steve. And, that will always remain. I just wish I could have had a chance to say a special "goodbye". I see his photo, thank God he was a Bear fan! My Dad & my family are still die hard BEARS fans. I look forward to seeing yous & your families, at the Memorial Service, in the near future, to celebrate the kindest man, I had the privilege to know and love, With heartfelt memories...Love, Geri Ebert

The memories that we shared from our past will not be forgotten. I can't help but think of Steve when I hear a song from Journey, watch Jeopardy or drive by the old Wadsworth Inn. I think I still have a picture of us when we coached the t-ball league and took first place! You will be missed.
My condolences to the family.
Rest in peace my friend.
