Obituary of Shirley Y. Nikkila

Shirley Y. Nikkila, 84, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, passed away March 25, 2020 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Shirley was born May 28, 1935 in Zion, Illinois. She married the love of her life, William, in Hastings, Nebreska, and they started a family. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church in Bristol, Wisconsin. She is survived by her husband, William J. Nikkila Sr.; her 6 children, Teresa R. Powers, William J. Nikkila Jr., Kevin W. Nikkila, Tabitha R. Holcomb, Rebecca S. Tinker, and David A. Nikkila; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Kennedy. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; 3 of her brothers; and a sister. A memorial service will be held at a later date after the lifting of the Stay In Place orders.
