Obituary of Michael Todd Blake

Michael Todd Blake, 64, of Beach Park, IL, passed away on February 14, 2020. Michael was born March 10, 1955 in Huntington, VA. He married Donna Garrison on September 8, 1979 in Zion, IL. Michael was a United States Naval Veteran who served in Vietnam and he retired from Abbott Laboratories where he worked as a boiler operator. Michael enjoyed mechanical work and building computers. Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna; sisters, Conetta and Katrina; sisters-in-law, Karen (Jeff) Ditgen and Melinda (Aaron) Lewis; brother-in-law, Ryan (Jamie) Garrison; and nieces and nephews, Ericka, William, Scott, Steven, Samantha, Cleo, Jovi, Blane, Becky, Alicia, Marisa, Amber, and Chelsea. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Conrad and Corine Blake; and an infant brother. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
