I have been a member of the Lake County Art League for over 20 years. In all that time I don't remember another person being more friendly and encouraging than Betty. Her smile, like her art, was always beautiful and she will live forever in our memories. My sincere sympathy and prayers are for Joe and Betty's entire family at this very difficult time.

Dear Joseph and Members of Betty's Family, Please accept our deepest condelences from all of us at Park Place. Betty was not only our Park Place Queen, a role she loved, she was also a brilliant artist and a warm, compassionate woman. We all loved her and she will be missed. I am so sorry I will be unable to attend the services Sunday. I will be out of town, but my prayers are with all of you. Love, Marty Williams

Our Tuesdays at Blooming Artists will have an awful hole in our group. She will truly be missed. As a newcomer she welcomed me into the group and gave me needed advice and inspiration. It just won't be the same without her!

Betty will be very, very sadly missed. I am glad we got to spend time with her last summer, and that she was able to meet my wife Natalie. We will always highly treasure the painting of hers that we have. Unfortunately, we can not get back to Waukegan from where we live now on the Big Island of Hawaii, but she is in our prayers. For Joseph, Joey, or anyone else dear to Betty, If you would like to come to Hawaii for a break, We can help from this end. Send an email. Our very deepest condolences go out to everyone back there for Betty's passing. Truely Sincerely, Thomas and Natalie Edholm
