I worked with Jeff on two CD projects back in the early 2000's... he was a wonderful man, mentor, and friend. We would keep in touch every year on his birthday, and I just found out about his passing. His gracious spirit was always an inspiration, and I so enjoyed the many hours I spent in the studio with him - sometimes working on the projects, sometimes just hanging out as friends. He was a very special man; I will always remember his smile, his kind words, and his wonderful heart.
