Obituary of Elizabeth Reyes Ontiveros

Elizabeth Reyes Ontiveros, 72, of Waukegan, IL, passed away suddenly on July 18, 2019.

Elizabeth was born on June 11, 1947 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico to Mariano and Carmen Reyes.  She graduated from Juana Diaz High School in Puerto Rico.  Elizabeth married Albino Ontiveros on November 15, 1969.  She was a member of Most Blessed Trinity. Mrs. Ontiveros loved being with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.  She loved getting her nails done and being pampered.  She enjoyed her cultural food.  Elizabeth’s hobbies were watching her novelas and enjoying a beautiful day sitting on her porch just relaxing.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Carmen Moncada, Ana Ontiveros, Guadalupe Montes, and Alejandro Ontiveros; grandchildren, Raul Morales, Tony Ontiveros, Joel Morales, Julian Ontiveros, William Montes, Briana Arvelo, Nadia Ontiveros, Leo Moncada, and Liam Ontiveros; great-grandchild, Lilah Duran; siblings, Ruth Dilia Reyes, Angel Reyes, Milagros Reyes, Felicita Reyes, Esther Reyes, Edith Reyes, Margarita Reyes, and Carmen Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carmen Maria Figeuroa Santiago and Mariano Reyes Torres; and her husband, Albino Ontiveros.

Services will be private for the family.
