Obituary of Charles Eugene Bailey

Charles Eugene Bailey, 61, of Salem, Wisconsin, passed away on May 23, 2019.

Chuck was born on August 5, 1957 in Waukegan, IL to Clarence and Bernice (nee Firstshoot) Bailey. Chuck retired from Onsrud Cutter in Libertyville after 30+ years. He was an avid fan of NHRA drag racing – especially Robert Hight. For all those that knew and loved Chuck knew his camera was never far from his side. Chuck saw a different world through his lens.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Bailey of Gurnee, IL; brother, Bob (Bonnie) Bailey of Wildwood, IL; sister, Kileen Weise of Ogema, MN. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and brother Mickey Bailey.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 5:00pm to the time of service at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
