Obituary of Roxanne Bouwens
Roxanne Mary Bouwens (62) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 5, 2019. Roxanne was born on April 6, 1957 to John and Marjorie (Rohrdanz) Bouwens in Waukegan, Illinois.
Roxanne was a General Laborer and a proud member of the Laborers' Union, Local 152 in her working days. Previous to being in construction, Roxanne worked as a waitress where putting a smile on everyone's faces was her specialty. She was always able to talk to anyone and make instant lifelong friends. She was a very outspoken person and always said what came to mind. Roxanne was the best at showing tough love which helped prepare her children for anything life threw at them. She also loved doing arts and crafts and truly enjoyed music. The Rolling Stones were her absolute favorite band.
Roxanne is preceded in death by her parents, John and Marjorie Bouwens, and her five fur babies who were her world (Lil' Man, Bitty, Phoebe, Cammy, and TJ). She is remembered by her three children; Wesley (Taren) Wehmer, Jennifer (Daniel) Garcia, and Ashley (Nathaniel) Haak, her four siblings, Debbie Griggs, John Bouwens Jr., Brian Bouwens Sr., and Tina Sheppard, her grandchildren, Alexis, Zachary James, Aiden, Wesley, Zachary, Austin, Kyleigh, Isahq, and Luke, and her two fur babies, Charlie and Bunky.
