I will miss 'My Date' very much. I loved the Sunday family dinners and watching football with you (especially the Bears/Packers rivalry).! ..You were always so kind and thoughtful. As Bob Hope would sing "Thanks for the Memories".... and now your coffee will always be ready and hot! Love and hugs, Mary

Dear Paul, Petey and Barbie,
Our hearts are saddened to hear of the loss of your Father. We so enjoyed tooting our horn and waving to Petey and your Dad when they were cutting the grass. Mom had your Dad over for coffee and cookies and the stories never ended. Always meaning to make plans for more visits. Growing up together at St. Marks since bible school and having the time of our lives growing up on Florida Av. Paul was best friends with David and Petey and I were close and Barbie and Paula always had slumber parties. Your mom and dad always let us in your house and your mom was always funny and had cookies on hand. Sometimes we would leave our houses at the same time and have a race who would get to church first. The best was when your Dad cut thru the co-op parking lot and left us at the light. Arvo won that day. We still talk about that story because you never thought Arvo would pull a fast one. It sure was one funny morning. So God Bless you all and to know mom and dad are in each other’s arms again.
With heartfelt love and sympathy, Charlotte, Helen and Paula Marqui

To Arvo you were family no matter if you were or not.
His home was your home. As you see in his picture here, this is who he was.
His face lit up for his family, friends his coffee and “dippers”.
Arvo as well as his wife Joyce were those people that made your life joyful and loving whenever you were with them.
Eternal rest unto you Arvo, God’s faithful servant.
