Obituary of Gayle Snyder

Gayle Harlan Snyder Jr., 68, of Winfield KS, died December 13, 2012, with his dear friend Marilyn by his side. Gayle was born October 5, 1944 in Waukegan, IL. He was a resident of many Lake County communities until his relocation to Kansas. He attended schools in North Chicago, IL. Gayle was in the U.S. Marine Corps, and served in the Vietnam War. In his free time, Gayle loved to cook and entertain and was a friend to many people. He is survived by his father Gayle H. Snyder Sr., of Zion, IL; sisters Ardis (Les) Harris of Crystal River, Florida, and Donna (Victor K.) Geib of Beach Park, IL; close friend Marilyn Turner; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia E. Snyder (nee Carberry), and a nephew, Ryan Geib.The family would like to thank Marilyn for her love and compassion.
