Dear Aunt Nancy, Uncle Chester, Bill, Ryan, Tyffani, and Tyler,
When I visited your Mom/Grandma she always greeted me with a smile. She loved to watch "Last Man Standing" and "The Lawrence Welk Show". She often talked about how blessed she was to have such a loving family. She appreciated when Bill would come over for a visit and mow her lawn. She enjoyed spending time with him. She would show me the flowers Ryan gave her and tell me when he would surprise her by taking her to lunch. She called both Bill and Ryan fine men who were treasures to her. She was grateful to see her great grandchildren Tyffani and Tyler grow up. She kept pictures of them and was so proud. Your Mom was grateful that both you Aunt Nancy and Uncle Chester took her to church, out to eat, and to any other places she needed to go. She felt very special and told me often that she loved that Uncle Chester called her Mom. She also said what a great daughter she has to take so much of her time to care for her. Mrs. Ridgway was fond of the simple things and was thankful for any act of kindness that was given to her. The last evening I saw her she would walk me out to the door. She would wave goodbye to me and smile to let you know that she was ok. I believe that is a good way to remember her. She is now smiling in Heaven and walking faster and without her walker. She is hand in hand with her husband and with her son Eddie also at her side. She will be forever in your hearts and souls. She was an unforgettable and classy woman who epitomized that love is the only thing that matters.
Your Cousin/Niece,
Julie

We were fortunate to have had Dorothy as a neighbor on Lowery Court over the last 28 years. She was the most caring and thoughtful person you would ever want to meet. She always greeted us with kind words and had a wonderful way of making us feel special. Loved chatting with Dorothy in her living room will all her family pictures. She was very proud of her family and loved you all very much. Dorothy’s kind spirit and smiling face will be greatly missed by all on Lowery Court.
You are in our thoughts and prayers,

Nancy, Chet, Bill, Ryan, Tyffani, and Tyler,
Your Mom and Grandma was a lovely Lady, we have enjoyed knowing for many years. She always had a smile and something nice to say. I enjoyed the stories she would tell reminiscing of younger days when Nancy and Eddie were little. She loved you all so much and always said how good you were to her. I remember how happy she was when she reached her 96th birthday. I told her she was an inspiration to us all. We will miss her too.
Love and Prayers,
Tom and Luci

Dear Nancy, Chet and Family,
Dorothy's was a life well lived. I am grateful for the years of friendship and the best kind of neighbors across the street on Lowery Ct. I will never forget the conversations and laughs we shared together - Ed with his pipe and slippers wondering when I was getting around to bringing his newspaper; telling me stories of construction projects on military bases and chatting with Einstein at Harvard. There was always something amusing on Ed's mind that he wanted to share. It was thrilling to see Dorothy off on the ZPD van to be with senior friends. I was so proud of her. I loved getting a smile and giggle from Dorothy.
Nancy, you enjoyed your parents for that same kind friendship. You are to be most admired and appreciated for your love, availability and support. Chet, being the driver isn't all that bad.
Hey to Dick and Carol, John and Tomiko and Larry and Lynn.
Love, Don and Sandy Good
