Lil just means so much to my life. I look up to her still. The comfort of knowing she was one call away is gone now. All her wisdom and faith was a comfort and a soft landing for me many times. I celebrate the aspect of knowing she is in heaven where she rightly belongs. She showed us all full circle what a life dedicated to God means...and an earthy death ended by her going straight to the presence of Jesus I believe. But now that the service is over from earlier today....the fear of us all left in a world without her seems so scary and empty without her. Because there is just no one like her. Nothing will EVER be the same again. All we can do is try to love and seek the Lord like she did....and lift each other up in prayer...so that we can feel a piece of her still in our hearts when we do that. Her entire family/Junior are all lovely people. May God comfort them....All of us. WE LOVE YOU LIL. We miss you to pieces. Josie

I knew Lil from her long-time career in real estate. We used to go on Tuesday tours to view new listings, and she would always have some sort of good food to serve us. AND she usually asked us to join her in prayer before we ate! :-) She was a kind person. My condolences to David, and the entire family.

Sister Lil was a big influence on me. She asked me to fill in for her with the Sr. Adult class. I was a bit scared to do that, but I had so much respect for her and knew that she listens to God, so I could not say no. I found that Senior Adults is the easiest group to teach, because they love to talk about the Lord and the Bible. I filled in for her several times, before my husband was asked to become the Senior Adult Pastor in Virginia Beach, Va. I am very thankful that she gave me the opportunity to bond with the Senior Adults at Zion Church of God. My husband and I loved her very much. May God Bless and give her family comfort.

Lil was a beloved woman who helped anyone that needed it. She was my Mother’s best friend and our family would have been lost without her during Mom’s illness. She walked the talk and in my heart, I believe she was the epitome of what a Christian should look like. She will surely be missed on God’s Earth.

I don't remember a time without Lil Crosswhite in my life. She was a role model, my spiritual mentor and a source of love of wisdom.
Her family, friends, church, and the community of Zion has lost a true pillar of strength and support.
She fought a valiant battle with her disease, and she has won, in the presence of her Savior, she will live eternally. We can grieve with hope of winning our future battles and one day being together again.
Terry and I will be holding up her beloved family in prayer and love in the coming days.
