I knew Mary Rose when she worked in the Admitting Office at the hospital in Zion many, many years ago (probably close to 40 years). She knew my mother, Helen Walther who also worked there at the time. My mother and I both liked her very much and enjoyed working with her. I lost track of her and to my surprise and delight in 2016, she came to my mother's service at Congdon Funeral Home. It was so nice to see her. She was just as sweet as I remembered. Tonight she crossed my mind and I searched online for her. I knew her as Mary Rose Jedersyk and I did not realize she had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. Mary Rose was a kind and gentle lady with a loving spirit. May she RIP. - Nora Orrick

In the book of Isaiah chapter 25 verse 8 God promises a time when he will actually swallow up death forever. To remove death, he must eliminate its root cause, which is sin. God will do this through Jesus Christ who takes away the sin of the world. John chapter one verse 29. Mary Rose was our first cousin. We lived around the corner from her family on Leavitt St. She often stopped by our apartment to play with our children. She was very kind, witty and loving. Our sincerest-sympathy to her family. She will be in our prayers.
