Obituary of Mark David Paul
Mark David Paul, 58, of Winthrop Harbor, IL “broke on through to the other side” peacefully, at home, with his wife. Due to a journey through a life full of illness, death invoked no fear in him. Despite setbacks, he stepped forward in pursuit of a life of fulfillment for his family. He knew what we called “the end”, was the next phase of his journey with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mark was a selfless, hardworking man; a man who was loved and respected by many. He was passionate about the military, history, and rock ‘n’ roll music. His love for his family was endless.
He was born on April 3, 1960 in Frankfurt, Germany. Mark and Debbie were united in marriage on October 4, 1980 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kenosha, WI. He was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha, WI and the previous co-owner of The Other Place Pizza.
Mark is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie Paul; children, Zachary Paul and Stacy Paul; grandchildren, Sonny Maan, Maddie Paul and Maya Paul; siblings, Carla Hodgson, Donald Paul and Jeff Paul; nephews Nicholas Smith and Logan Main; and other beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Marguerite Paul.
