Obituary of Richard Driscoll

Richard Hamilton Driscoll, 72, of Zion, IL departed this life on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 after a long illness.

Richard was born on September 22, 1946 in Mason City, IA.  He was formerly a resident of Knoxville, TN and San Diego, CA.  On May 29, 1971, he married Nancy Ann Davis in Denver, CO.  Richard earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado in 1974.  He was a clinical psychologist, researcher, author, speaker and publisher. His work and family were his passions; he loved sharing his ideas via writing and speaking, was a distinguished psychotherapist, and a dedicated family man. 

Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Christopher Driscoll, Jonathan (Laura Hale) Driscoll and Kari (John) Deluca; and brothers, John (Mary Ann) Driscoll and Charles F. (Suzan) Driscoll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Barbara Driscoll.

Services for Richard will be held at a later date in San Diego, CA.
