Bev, Kay and Peggy and families - My memories of Uncle Bob include: soft spoken counter balance to Aunt Loa; the hands of a craftsman; often lending a hand to my Dad; nice car - benefit of owning a body shop; providing comfort to my Mother in her final years, and most importantly walking the Christian walk. Sending my love and comfort across the miles - Gary

Our sympathy to the Peterson family at the loss of Uncle Bob. Our parents always enjoyed time spent with Bob and Loa as they raised their family respectfully and when we would travel to Illinois to visit. Later after moving to Wisconsin, Bob and Loa used to take rides around Wisconsin and pop in when in the area. Marnie and I will treasure the memories of those visits. Bob was truly touched by an Angel when he shared Gods word and a joy to spend time with. All of the Gustafson family will miss Uncle Bob. Bruce G & Marnie E and William & Alice G

Bev, Kay, and Peggy. I know that you will really miss your Dad. It is so great to know that he is in heaven with Auntie Loa. As you know he was truly rare among men and you experienced him like no other. I have fond memories of your family and visits to your childhood home.
When I recently met with him, we had a great lunch and talked clearly about all sorts of things from his years as a young man to his path to and solid relationship with Jesus and Auntie Loa. What an inspiration.
I am honored to be part of the family and I am fortunate to have a warm, fresh memory.
Love, John and Molly

Bev, Kay & Peggy, So sorry for your loss, but know that as you grieve, you also celebrate a life that finished well! So many fond memories of your family. Distinctly remember family dinners at your apartment in Waukegan as a kid. I knew then that family was of huge importance to your mom and dad. Also saw a family that understood how to not only follow Christ, but to lead others to Him. Your parents were always intentional about their faith, wanting everyone to know the love of Jesus. What a blessing to see a legacy of faith passed on from generation to generation!
You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
