Deepest sympathy to Les’s family and friends. Knew him in high school - a kind, gentle soul even back then. He used to joke we should get married just so we could be Leslie and Leslie Garbett - always a great sense of humor. Wishing you comfort in the days ahead. RIP Les.

Sincerest condolences to the Garbett family. Les and Dan may have been the proudest fathers at North Prairie Junior High as Tyler and Randy terrorized basketball opponents. Les was always a good father and he will be missed. We planned to be at the wake and the memorial service but were unable to get there, due to the ridiculous weather conditions.

The smile Les always had on his face will be missed. We pray for the family in this tough time. Our family would like to remind you that at a time like this, leaning into God's word and giving your pain to him will help you through. Our family has great memories of Les and we will always treasure them.

I so miss my cuz. Even though we were not related by blood, Les was like a brother to me while growing up, spending many summers at Grandma and Grandpa Hills property on bass lake up north. Always a kind person with a love for family like no other. I will greatly miss his positive and upbeat nature that was always just the right medicine for those that needed him. I will greatly miss him, but I know that God will certainly bring him to a land of peace. GOD bless.

I did not know Leslie but his obituary sounds like I would like mine to read. My grandsons are my works and I am a huge animal lover. I cried when I read the request to buy some stranger a meal. Leslie, I promise I will be buying for several in your honor.
May Leslie rest in eternal peace
