I met Don and Pearl several years ago when they were snowbirds in Rancho Bernardo. We struck up a friendship at the swim and tennis club that was rekindled each year they visited, and I looked forward to many afternoons of good conversation! They spoke lovingly of their family and took an interest in mine; their words were always encouraging. Their love and commitment to each other and the importance of family is what I remember most about them, the same values mirrored by my parents. I'm so thankful for the time I shared with Don and Pearl and know that they are happily reunited in heaven :-)

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. She was such a FUN lady to encounter when I would see her at Z-BTHS. She was full of wit and so funny and always enjoyed the moment and the day. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

Pearl was our secretary in the Counseling Department at the College of Lake County and she was my friend. Her bright smile and quick wit endeared her to everyone she met, it also put everyone ease. Her later in life venturing into writing and publishing showed her willingness to learn something new. Blessings to her family. I will miss her
