Obituary of Gary Myers

Gary Myers, 62, of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October, 30, 2018.

Gary was born on April 18, 1956 in Waukegan, IL to Russell and Joyce Myers and spent his childhood in Antioch. On October 16, 1976 he married the love of his life, Margie Cronkrite at St. Dismas Church in Waukegan. Together they spent more than 20 years as residents of Beach Park before moving to Kenosha.  Gary was an excellent mechanic and was most recently employed with Highway C in Kenosha. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle “Blue” and woodworking, making pieces from nothing.  He adored his granddaughter, Brey and loved his wife unconditionally.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Margie; daughter, Anne (Adam) Gutierrez; granddaughter, Aubrey “Brey”; mother, Joyce Myers; sister, Linda Myers; and many other loving family members and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Russ Myers.

A memorial gathering will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November, 10, 2018 at North Point Church, 900 Lewis Avenue, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Northpoint Church or a charity of your choice.
