Hello, I am writing to share a message of hope. First of all let me start off by saying I am sorry for your loss. My prayer for you and your family is that the God of all comfort provides you with the comfort that you need during this difficult time. Please read 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

Charlie was truly a champion of the blue collar worker. A proud U.S. Auto Worker and a loyal member of United Auto Workers Local 72. He was elected as a Chief Steward for more than 35 years and never defeated. A record that will never be broken. Always militant in defending workers rights he championed their cause throughout his career. His selfless attitude, willingness to put his job on the line to protect the members of his local from injustices will never be forgotten. In our friendship of 40 years I never saw him one time put himself first. Everyone can learn a great deal from a man who cared about social justice and equality for all. May he rest in peace.
