Obituary of Kenneth A. Pincombe Sr.

    Kenneth A. Pincombe Sr., 70, passed away peacefully at home with family at his bedside on July 25, 2018. He was born December 8, 1947 to Herbert and Winifred Pincombe Jr. Of Phoenix, AZ. He then moved to Wadsworth, IL. He married Deborah A. Palmer on May 6th, 1969 in Zion, IL. Ken retired from John Manville in 1996 and Fair Oaks Farms in 2009.

   His hobbies were bowling, fishing, and working on VW Beetles. He is survived by his wife, Deborah A., and his three children: Kristy Williams, Kenneth (Linda) Pincombe Jr., Chad (Candy) Pincombe; and his father, Herbert J. Pincombe Jr. Ken was a devoted grandfather that took the time to teach his grandkids how to work on vehicles, how to fish, and how to bowl. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winifred.            

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL.
