I just found out about Les. My deepest felt condolences to Carmen and the Kids. It really hurt my heart to hear of Les passing. I worked with Les at RTC Great Lakes in the Security Department. We would spend our shifts laughing and being mischievous. He had that big booming laugh and we loved thinking of strange things to do between apprehending wayward Recruits. Like playing hide and go seek in the squad cars while doing perimeter checks, or harassing the geese that would be sleeping on the parade fields with a chirp from our siren and a stomp on the gas pedal. "No birds were ever harmed." They just shit a lot on the squad car, and Les and I would sneak out of the office before the next shift saw the mess on the car. "So they would have to clean it up." Rest in Peace my twin Brother. You are sorely missed.

I was stunned when I heard about the passing of my old good friend Les Coles. He was a good man who had a lot of passion for helping people. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in heaven.

I will always think of as Les a great friend and true shipmate...first met Les while working base security in Adak Alaska, never forget his sense of humor and his laugh. One of my greatest regrets is losing track of him over the years and now it is to late to catch up and talk old times. Fair winds and Following Seas old friend, we'll meet again in the next life.

Farewell my Union brother. Les was a remarkable Union president for AFSCME at Winchester House nursing home in Lake County. We fought a lot of battles together. Never a better or stronger comrade to have at your side. Condolences to his family and they should be proud of him.

I'm so very sorry for the death of Led and may all of those who loved him dearly know that Jesus Christ will do something amazing and that is spoken about in the Bible book of John 5:28,29. But also when he is brought back to life by means of a resurrection that Jesus Christ will perform in the future, then another future promise of God's will take place and that is found in the Bible book of Psalm 37:29 which reads: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So one day many of you will be able to welcome Les back into your arms to hold and to cherish, forever and if your ever wanting to know more about this wonderful hope for the future, then by all means feel free to visit us at, JW.org and there you will find many spiritual truths that will not o my excite you into know more about what the Future holds out to you, but what Jehovah God and HIS Son, Jesus Christ will do for all of you in so many ways and by learning these truths, your heart will be always happy and content with the Gems you will find in God's word the Bible.

I hadn't seen Lynn (the name I knew him by) since probably 1967 or so, when Dad would drive us from Sacramento to see the Coles cousins in San Jose? or was it Santa Clara?-- see, so long ago, I don't even remember. I just remember him as the much older cousin in a house full of my cousins. Rest in Peace, Lynn, and peace be with all who miss you so terribly.
