Obituary of Rodulfo J. deLara
Rodulfo de Lara Sr. 77 of Zion, Il passed away June 22nd, 2018. He was born February 04, 1941 to Generoso and Lucia de Lara in Tabango Leyte, Philippines. Rodulfo worked in maintenance at Zion Benton School.
He is survived by one Brother Romeo de Lara Sr. and his children, Rudy de Lara Jr. (Sue), Lowell de Lara (MaryAnn), Menchu Parading (Jun), Harold de Lara (Kris), Menie Gonzalez (Manny), Melissa Mitchell (Michael), Madelyn de Lara (Mark) and grandchildren, Melanie, Ishmael, Joey, Noah, Jessica, Jasmine, Jordan, Andre, Angeline, Nowell, Hollie, Ashley, Annemarie, Jakob, Andrew, and Mark Jr. and many great-grand-children, cousins and many more family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife Teresita de Lara, his parents Generoso and Lucia de Lara, his siblings, Rolando de Lara, Vinces de Lara and Yolanda Costello.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Humility Catholic Church, 10655 Wadsworth Road, Zion, on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, Il from 5-8 p.m., with a parish wake service at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Rodulfo was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. Rodulfo loved his Family and brought them all here so they could have a better life, he will be dearly missed.
