Obituary of Nancy L. Svete

Nancy L. Davison Svete, age 87, of Beach Park, IL, passed away on May 18, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Highland Park, IL on February 22, 1931, the daughter of the late William Davison and Mildred Gerken. Nancy attended Glen Flora Grade School, class 1945 and was a graduate of Waukegan High School in June of 1949.  

On November 29, 1952, she married Thomas Svete. She worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. For 8 years, volunteered at Victory Memorial Hospital for 24 years and was the past president of the Victory Auxiliary.

Nancy loved traveling and taking Bus trips and going out to lunch with her friends.

She is survived by her son Michael Svete and her grandson Jeffrey Svete.

She was prededed in death by her parents, husband Thomas and her brother William H. Davison.

A visitation will be held at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL on Thursday May 24th, from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m.. Interment will be held at North Shore Garden of Memories Cemetery on Friday at 10:00 a.m.. Please meet at the gate at 9:45 a.m.
